Well, well. Enough time has passed where I can safely say the oleanders are growing. I was surprised last weekend to see they have almost filled in the spaces inbetween and are inching higher. Maybe next summer we will have privacy. Gardening-wise I have been planting petunias along the front and trying to avoid being hit by a car or truck. I am appalled by the young drivers and the trucks that go by without slowing down or moving away from my curb. Such a total disregard for another human's health or life. I truly worry about the highway workers who are put at such risk daily. So few people ever slow to the construction speed limit and rarely is there any enforcement of the traffic laws here. Does anyone care anymore?????
